| Course Description: This office building was renovated to pursue every possible LEED‐CI credit (53 of 57 possible credits) with the goal of exceeding LEED Platinum and being a showcase of sustainable practices and materials for everyone in the Hudson Valley region.
|
| Tour includes discussion and demonstration of the credits and how they contribute towards reducing the environmental impact of a building and achieving LEED Certification. A major goal of this project is to show how feasible it is to achieve LEED Certification.

| Course Activities: This course will demonstrate specific LEED credits and the instructor will explain the strategies used to achieve them. Included in the presentation will be the environmental impact of these decisions (e.g., 1,000 milk jugs in the countertops). Discussion and questions are encouraged.
